Where a voter presents himself for the purpose of voting, the clerks shall ascertain whether his name is upon the pollbook, and if his name appears thereon and no challenge be interposed, the voter shall go to the voting machine for the purpose of casting his vote. No voter shall remain in the voting machine booth longer than ten (10) minutes, if no one is waiting to vote, and no longer than five (5) minutes if someone is waiting to vote, and, having cast his vote, the voter shall at once emerge therefrom, and leave the polling room by the exit opening; if he shall refuse to leave after the lapse of time stated above, he shall be removed by the election officers. No voter, after having entered and emerged from the voting machine booth, shall be permitted to reenter the same on any pretext whatever.
