(a) No person, member, county director or deputy county director or employee of the Department shall directly or indirectly use or seek to use his or her authority or official influence to control or modify the political action of another person or at any time actively participate in any political activities or campaigns. (b) Any person who shall violate this section shall be fined not more than $500 and shall forfeit that person’s position or employment.
