No applicant, otherwise qualified to be an elector in this state, shall be ineligible by reason of blindness or defective sight. (1949 Rev., S. 992; 1953, S. 514d; P.A. 76-128, S. 3, 11.) History: P.A. 76-128 deleted requirements for reading or submission of proof of previous admission as elector in any Connecticut town.
