Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to prohibit the holding of caucuses for the selection of delegates prior to the day of the primary. (P.A. 79-481, S. 17; P.A. 83-475, S. 41, 43.) History: P.A. 83-475 deleted former Subsec. requiring persons wishing to become delegates to file a statement to that effect with the secretary of the state. Secs. 9-487 to 9-599.
