§ 750.68Brand of animals

Sec. 68.
    Changing, etc., brand of animals—Any person who shall mark or brand, or alter or deface
 the mark or brand of any domestic animal, the property of another, with intent thereby to steal
 the same, or to prevent identification thereof by the true owner, shall be guilty of felony, and
 any person who shall mark or brand, or alter or deface the mark or brand of any domestic
 animal whether the property of himself or another with intent to sell, ship, trade or give away
 contrary to law any animal which has given the positive reaction to the bovine tuberculosis

 test or the blood test for Bang's disease or with intent to avoid any lawful quarantine of such
 animal, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
