§ 750.272Foreign corporations; stock, fraudulently issued, sale

Sec. 272.
     Knowingly selling fraudulently issued stock of foreign corporations—Any person or
 persons who shall sell or offer for sale any stock fraudulently issued, and purporting to be the
 stock, scrip or evidence of debt of any corporation located out of the state of Michigan,
 knowing the same to be so fraudulently issued, or shall hypothecate, or in any manner dispose
 of the same for value, shall be guilty of a felony, punishable by imprisonment in the state
 prison not more than 10 years.
