§ 750.533Slaughter houses; within 20 rods of highway

Sec. 533.
    Slaughter houses within 20 rods of highway—Any person who shall keep or maintain any
 slaughter-house, slaughter-yard or slaughter-pen, or any other place for slaughtering or killing
 any animals, or rendering dead animals as a business, within 20 rods of any public highway
 within this state, or in any other place except as provided in section 6521 of the Compiled
 Laws of 1929 and amendments thereto, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor: Provided, That the
 provisions of this section shall not apply within the limits of incorporated villages and cities.
